My family has lived in precinct 3 of Johnson county for 18 years. I am a retired minister and a 13 year member of the Clergy and Police Alliance of the Fort Worth Police department. Officers take me with them during their work day. It is there that I witness life that goes far beyond my graduate training.Families experience pain and trauma and much of it comes without warning. It is in this context that I first met Andy Nolan - on a police call. I am humbled by these first responders who have chosen a path for their lives to fulfill the divine calling described in Romans 13. Also I am humbled that I am welcomed in a police car when I can carve out time from my schedule.
Our family desires the best qualified candidates to serve in the offices of our government. Andy's qualifications speak for themselves. He is our choice.

A Texas Justice of the Peace presides over cases that can be filed under civil law or criminal statutes. I would guess that with you having 26 years as a police officer, dealing with criminal statutes, plus having also obtained a degree in law and passing the Texas BAR to become a licensed attorney, you have exceeded the qualifications of probably over 95% of the Justice Courts in the entire State of Texas! You would be the only JP in Johnson County to hold attorney credentials, and only the second one currently in office to have experience in law enforcement. Not only are your technical qualifications unmatched, but your long time ties to the county, and unquestioned integrity and professionalism are a perfect fit for the position. You would be ready to go to work on day 1! I urge all of my friends to vote for you! You'll be a fantastic asset to our county government.

To Whom it May Concern:
It is with humble sincerity that I endorse Andy Nolan for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3 in the Republican Primary for Johnson County. Andy is a Christian and a 25 year resident of Precinct 3. As I have come to know Andy and his wife of 25 years, Cindy, I have personally witnessed his depth of character and integrity. Knowing he was brought up in a military and law enforcement family it is obvious to me that his conviction and love for the values we as citizens hold so dear are stamped firmly on his heart. Andy has been a police officer and supervisor for the Fort Worth Police Department for the last 27 years. Andy also attended night school for almost 10 years and successfully obtained two degrees and an attorney’s license. Andy has only had three jobs in his lifetime. When I asked Andy about why he decided to spend so much time in school while being a police officer and father he just said that “he wanted his daughters to see the importance of a strong education and know that they too are capable (and expected) to push themselves in life, whatever they chose to do.” This to me is a rare example of one who leads from the front and will always strive to do better for those he serves. There is no way possible that Andy could have been as successful in his life and have the reputation he has if he were not a man of tenacity and integrity. With the rapid growth in our county, the issues coming before this court are numerous and becoming more and more technical. The Justice of the Peace Courts have a long, tenured reputation as being “The People’s Court.” Therefore, the presiding judge must not only know the law and the duties of the office, but be involved in the community just as our current judge, Honorable Pat Jacobs is. We need Andy Nolan in this position and more people like him to answer the call to serve. If elected, I whole-heartedly believe the citizens of Johnson County will benefit from Andy’s knowledge, experience, integrity and genuine love of people. It is with these words that I humbly endorse Andy Nolan for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3.
Thank you,
Bob Alford, Retired Sheriff
Johnson County
I strongly support Andrew Nolan for Johnson County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3. I have known Andrew since he joined the Fort Worth Police Department as a young officer. During his tenure with the police department he has always worked in the most difficult parts of Fort Worth. As an officer, he not only responded to criminal calls but also civil disputes. Andrew has always shown the capability to handle every situation professionally and courteously. Not only has Andrew promoted within the department to the rank of Sergeant, but he also graduated from law school and passed the Texas Bar Exam…. all while working full time with the police department. I am confident that Andrew will not only serve the citizens of Precinct 3 with expertise and knowledge, but also with dignity and outstanding character.
Respectfully,
-Ralph Mendoza

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Andy Nolan and working with him for 26 years at the Fort Worth Police Department. He has a stellar reputation with Fort Worth citizens and the officers he commands and works with.
In addition to working with Andy I’ve lived in the same neighborhood as he does for almost 20 years. In that time I’ve seen him walk our neighborhood with his family countless times. To me, that is a testament to his character that he consistently, year after year, has carved time out of his busy schedule to spend time with his family.
Johnson County will be well served with Andy Nolan as a justice of the peace.-Robert Campbell
I have known Andrew Nolan for almost 25 years. He is an honest, integrity driven, selfless servant who has served the public his entire adult life. As a state elected official with over seven years of experience, I am confident that he will always remember that he works for the constituents and strive to be efficient and fair. He worked hard during his law enforcement career to obtain his degree and become a lawyer. For these reasons and so many more, I endorse Andrew's campaign for Justice of the Peace.

We are at a crossroad in our communities and country. Are we willing to stand up for truth and justice. Are we going to vote into office those who believe in truth and justice?
If this resonates with you, I ask you to prayerfully consider voting for Andrew Nolan as your next Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace.
I have known Andrew his entire life. He is honest and caring. He believes there is right and wrong. He believes there is good in people and always looks for it.
After more than 2 decades in law enforcement, he also has the wisdom to recognize when the line from good to bad has been crossed.
As your future Justice of the Peace, he will not only be able to distinguish the good from the bad, but also have the power to make sure justice is served fairly and efficiently.
Now is the time for your voice to be heard. I ask you to use that voice in electing Andrew Nolan as your Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Sr. Police Officer Ira J. Harris, I have been in law enforcement for 16 years, with 14 being with the Houston Police Department. I would like to open by sharing briefly how I met Andy Nolan.
During Hurricane Harvey, the community were I work was extremely affected from the storm, Officers at my station had worked around the clock, exhausted, and spent a great deal of time away from their families.
Andy was one of several Ft. Worth Police officers who volunteered to come and assist us, in a time when we needed all of the help we could get. I was fortunate to be partnered with Andy for the following three weeks, during that time I saw Andy as being compassionate, fair, and a consumate professional.
Moreover, I began to see Andy as not just a temporary coworker, but as a valued friend. We shared stories of our families, sports, and common interests. Our department has suffered a few tragedies with loss, and every time, Andy would check on us and offer prayers and condolences and a friendly ear if need be. We keep in contact to this day.
With this being said it is my honor and privilege to endorse my friend Andrew Nolan as Justice of the Peace for Pct. 3.
Sincerely,
Sr. Off. Ira J. Harris,
Houston Police Department
It’s a no brainer that Sgt Andy Nolan FWPD is running for PCT, 3 JP Seat! Andrew Nolan is a Certified Lawyer, Pilot and certified Master Peace Officer with 25 plus years experience in supervision and serving the Citizens of Fort Worth working the streets and putting bad guys in jail. I recall a pursuit of a meth head that Andy pursued into Arlington from East chase that the guy kicked in a door of a residence where we found the yahoo in the attic of a house. Those were the good ol days where we took care of business and the bad guys would later thank us as we gave them sound advice as we transported them to jail treating them like family and asking them what were they thinking! VOTE for Andy he will continue to serve as he is a warrior! He also cares about those he works with as when I had cancer him and those that worked for him took me to Lunch to cheer me up and support me when life was unsure what the next day was going to be! I am one that does not forget those that were there for me through thick and thin! Plz VOTE Andy Nolan!

My friend of 26 years, Andy Nolan, is running to be the new Justice of the Peace for NE Johnson County (Precinct 3.) If you live in NE Johnson County but aren't registered to vote here, please update your registration before the primary in March (link on Andy's webpage.) Andy's been a Burleson resident for 25 years, married to the same great gal that whole time, and a long-time member of Pathway Church. He's been a Fort Worth Police Officer for 26 years (we went to the academy together) and is a licensed attorney (rare for a JP, and he's the only one in the race.) Both his daughters graduated from Centennial High School, and both went off to A&M. He is far-and-away the most qualified person in the race, and I'm proud to have his yard sign in my yard!

When I first met Andy Nolan, years ago, he impressed me with his work ethic and diligence. Over the years, I have gotten to know him better, and I can say that he is one of the finest individuals of my acquaintance, has an upright character and is a pleasure to work with. He has a heart for justice. He is smart and hard working, a combination not easy to find. He will not disappoint to uphold the rule of law and fairly deal with all the individuals with whom his path crosses.

I’ve known Andy Nolan and his wife Cindy for more almost 15 years. And I can tell you he is the right candidate for the Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 office.
Knowing Andy, he doesn’t cut corners on anything, whether it’s his job as a Fort Worth police officer, attending law school, balancing family life or becoming a licensed attorney. When he sets his mind on something, he’s all in and completes the task. After that, he’s still unsatisfied. Andy is going to find a way to make anything he does better. That’s just who he is.
I believe that’s exactly what he’d do as justice of the peace. He’s lived in Johnson County for more than 24 years and knows the people. He has more skills and education than any candidate.
Andy will immerse himself even further into the community when he’s elected. That’s easy to see by the way he has done so during this campaign. Once he filed, he’s attended meetings, candidate forums, service clubs, etc., to gain the knowledge he needs for the job and to become acquainted with the residents. It’s obvious in the answers he gives and with his education and background, he’s the most qualified.
Andy is the type of guy who will stand tall for his constituents and his staff. He will look you in the eye when he shakes your hand and will not back down from any problem you throw at him.
As editor of the Cleburne Times-Review for almost 20 years, I saw a lot of elected officials come and go. Some just take up a spot, accept a paycheck and are happy to be there. That’s not Andy. It takes a lot for me to step outside of my comfort zone and endorse anyone. However, I’ve known Andy long enough to do just that and I do it with a lot of confidence.
I know he’ll represent Precinct 3 well and will hold himself accountable for anything he promises.
Although I no longer work in Johnson County, I travel through it and to it regularly. I maintain relationships with my former co-workers, Cleburne Rotary Club members and others throughout the county. I want the best for the residents of Johnson County and I believe Andy is the best person for the job.
